Hey all! Has anyone found some legal music sites that work with their screen readers? Thanks!
uh ... sorta. its not well its sort of legal. its seekasong.com make sure you set markers for the search results etc or you'll take all day looking for it.
I would very much recommend http://www.tunetribe.com
This is a legal website and it's simply that, a website. Once you order your music, you download a zip file which contains song/s or albums you bought. This though is bit of a more alternative site, if you're lokking for your top 40 stuff, you won't find it here, but for all who are in to rock, dance and a lot of new indie stuff, I really suggest to check it out. More and more artests are added every day and it really is worth having a look!
winmx, which hasn't stopped working, lime wire, warez, kazaa, bearshare, gneucleus, erries, fire fly, and more
Uh, he said legal websites, not programs. Anyway, you might want to check out
http://www.epitonic.com/
www.allofmp3.com is like the one vanja suggested though you have to download each albumn track individually. but you have download it in any format you desire. each albumn is pretty cheap - maybe about 8 US dollars an albumn. and an individual song is just a few cents. the graphic varification signup is not possible by yaself unfortunately as, last i checked there was no audio links or anything, but once you get past that, it's a good site! :)
Walmart music works fine with screen readers on their website; straight forward, but If you want something besides top40, yeah, remember; it's walmart.....
www.archive.org if you like recordings of live shows. All the music on there is made available legally and nothing is put up there without bands giving the ok prior. To get to the main database of bands, click on "audio," click on "live music archive" and click "browse bands in the live music archive from there." They're mostly well-known for their huge grateful dead repository (almost 3000 shows) but there are hundreds of other bands of just about every genre worth checking out on there.
O My Bad. Let me try this again. www.rapcity.com
winmx doesn't work anymore. is there any websites where you don't have to pay and has like the top 40. alternative, hip hop, rmb, regae...
Wow, thanks all! Sheesh, I should have come back sooner...smile! Um, my current fave searches are just about anything from the 20's-40's. Not so much the radio show's, mostly the music! I noticed y'all mentioned rapsidy, is that now working with screen readers?
well this you can download mwww.emp3world.com (a lot of broken links) www.mp3worl
sorry forget the other one i started to post
